Roman “Resolut1on” Fominok has announced his departure from Team Empire – one of Russia’s premiere Dota 2 teams. Resolut1on will be moving over to Digital Chaos – a relatively young North American team established by DotaCinema, a popular Dota 2 YouTube channel. Roman typically plays as Mid or Offlaner, and is expected to take over the role of Mid at DC.
The 19-year old was a member of the long-time Empire team for over 2 years, helping them secure a number of #1 and #2 finishes at several tournaments, as well as a 9-12 place finish at the International 2015, which earned Empire over $ 220,000. He was arguably their best player.
Digital Chaos, on the other [...]
The CS:GO European Minor Championship hosted by PGL ended with a rather spectacular win by HellRaisers. This turned out to be a really important win fo the team as the competition also serves as a qualifier for another competition known as MLG Columbus Closed qualifier. Eight teams answered the call and showed up ready for war:
E-frag, PENTA Sports, CG, Team LDLC White, HellRaisers, PixelFire Gaming, DenDD and Lemondogs CS fought for supremacy and after the first clash only 4 teams were left in the race.
Hellraisers took on PENTA Sports and moved on to the final while E-frag blew through PixelFire ready to meet HellRaisers head on. Unfortunately for E-frag, HellRaisers [...]

In December a new MGO entered the playing field in North America and the CS:GO Competitive Gaming landscape was changed by the announcement of a new team entering the arena, team Echo Fox. What was interesting about it was the fact that the owner of the team is former NBA player turned actor Rick Fox who bought the team for $1000.000. This just goes to shows the dimension of eSports and the attraction it represents to unconventional investors.
Team Echo Fox is a League of Legends team that plays in the NA LCS. As things in eSports are moving really fast Rick Fox has now announced that they are expanding into CS:GO. [...]
Along with the many changes coming to the world of competitive gaming such as changes in CS:GO rules the latest Patch for League of Legends has arrived with interesting changes which are certain to set the pace for ranked Season 6. As far as I can tell the changes will greatly improve the League experience, will greatly improve the synergy of teams and community thus drawing in an even greater player base for League Of Legends. This of course will generate huge fan base and that will in turn have a positive effect on Competitive play. League of legends is set to break some records this year! Let’s go through the most important changes together:
Playing support in Dota 2 gets a bad reputation, not only because the carries get all the kills and the glory, but also because you have to rely on those same carries to win the game. But not all support heroes are passive and helpless. In this guide, we’re going to talk about how you can both support your team and get plenty of kills as one of the most versatile intelligence heroes in the game – Witch Doctor.Skills
All of Witch Doctor’s abilities are active, and give him everything any good support & ganker needs – a stun, a healing ability, magic burst, and a powerful ultimate for scoring kills.

Major changes have hit League of Legends pretty hard in 2016 and even though on the surface these changes have only involved the Masteries tree it is obvious that they have greatly impacted the entire game as runes need to be moved around a bit in order to adapt to or to fully compliment Masteries while allowing Summoners to perform at a highly functional level according to their selected roles and lanes.
League of Legends have upped their game year by year refining the mechanics of the game and allowing players to develop a personal style and maybe make it as close to unique as possible. It is a social game , it relies strongly on community and being able to work as part of a [...]
Now that League of Legends Season 6 has begun and the placements fever has started to die down for most of us, it is time to once more start climbing the fabled ranked ladder. A lot of people were left in a dazed and confused state following the placements as most people ended up in the higher tiers of Bronze, so we will talk about Bronze as a starting point on our journey to Gold (for most players) or Challeneger (for an elite few).
Along with patch 6.1, League of Legends brought us the concept of Dynamic Queuing which includes Position Select and Champ Select. Promo helper is also something to talk about when preparing to start [...]
With the release of Dota 2’s massive December update, a new hero has entered the fray – Zet the Arc Warden. And unless you were still playing the original Dota back in 2012 when Zet was first released, chances are you’re not familiar with this hero. Arc Warden is a radiant agility hero typically played as a pusher, ganker, or carry.
Zet’s main strength is his ability to duplicate himself complete with all items and spells. In terms of playstyle, Arc Warden is closest to Meepo – another hero that spawns copies of himself, has high magic burst, and is great at pushing. Also similar to Meepo, Zet requires heavy micromanagement which makes him one of the more difficult heroes to [...]
