FORG1VEN leaves, Freeze joins H2K roster
League of Legends‘ H2k Gaming revealed the addition of Renegades ADC Aleš “Freeze” Kněžínek on Saturday.
European titans H2k Gaming were left dazed and confused after the departure of their carry, Konstantinos “FORG1VENGRE” Tzortziou. Losing the top-tier ADC left H2k’s potential for the summer in question.
Luckily,I t didn’t take long for them to find a replacement .
The team posted on Facebook that Aleš “Freeze” Kněžínek had been transferred from LA Renegades, and will make his return to the European LCS in the 2016 Summer Split.
Kněžínek had this to say about the move.
I’m happy to announce that I will be playing under the banners of H2K. I’m confident that we will qualify for worlds and represent EU well.
For a team looking to reclaim the Worlds stage, this is a huge move. While it’s hard to live up to the standard set by FORG1VEN, Freeze has proved himself to be a very capable ADC during his stint on the Renegades roster, where he posted a 4.1 KDA though his team performed extremely poorly during the majority of the split.
The addition of this aggressive carry should be very exciting for versatile support Oskar “VandeR” Bogdan, who is far superior to any of Freeze’s lane partners to date and may be able to bring out the best of the already-talented marksman.
