HellRaisers win CS:GO European Minor Championship

The CS:GO European Minor Championship hosted by PGL ended with a rather spectacular  win by HellRaisers. This turned out to be a really important win fo the team as the competition also serves as a qualifier for another competition known as MLG Columbus Closed qualifier. Eight teams answered the call and showed up ready for war:

E-frag, PENTA Sports, CG, Team LDLC White, HellRaisers, PixelFire Gaming, DenDD and Lemondogs CS fought for supremacy and after the first clash only 4 teams were left in the race.

Hellraisers took on PENTA Sports and moved on to the final while E-frag blew through PixelFire ready to meet HellRaisers head on. Unfortunately for E-frag, HellRaisers brought their A game and won the whole thing taking home $30,000 and a spot at MLG Columbus LAN Qualifier.

The Grand Final was quite interesting as both teams had a 100% win ration, but HellRaisers prevailed.

E-frag took home $15,000 while PixelFire Gaming  and PENTA Sports had to settle for $2500 each.

HellRaisers is a European team currently on a 4 wins streak with a roster consisting of : Kirill “ANGE1”Karasiow, Emil”Kucher”Akhundov, Tomas”oskar”Stastny, Martin”STYKO”Styk and Patrik”zero”Zudel. The team is currently ranked 13th Worldwide and 2nd in EU east by gosugamers.net.

The win is pretty important for the team’s future and it will be interesting to follow their progress at the Columbus LAN qualifier as competition will be fierce and incredibly entertaining.
